Celebrities Are Susceptible To Wrongful Death

It is easy to believe that if you have the money then you can have access to the best of everything. If you are a national celebrity then you get to have access to everything like a better seat on the plane, automatic seat in the busiest restaurant, ability to buy anything or rent anything that you like, and all the rest of the star treatments. We think that because people are rich that they have access to better doctors or better treatments for whatever is ailing them. We forget, however, that people with money are still just people. They are still human and must deal with human things like getting sick or injured. Sure, having money means that you won’t have to worry about whether or not you have to pay the electric bill, but none-the-less they are treated by the same doctors as everyone else.

Just because you may have more money or better insurance doesn’t necessarily mean that they are getting better treatment from more educated doctors. Sure, if you have the money then you have access to more opinions, but in the end, the doctor that treats the rich person can more than likely treat the poor person too. All this to say that even though you have money it doesn’t negate the risk you take when you have to undergo surgery or if you are dealing with an illness that needs specific care. We are all human, but what we really hope for is that regardless of whether we are rich or not, we depend on our health care providers to open and honest with what they are doing with our loved ones.

Celebrity Horror Story

Bill Paxton was a young 61-year old man when he died. He was a well known American actor who performed in classic films like Titanic, Twister, and Apollo 13. He was critically acclaimed and beloved by family and friends. He went into heart surgery in which the family alleges that the surgeon used “high risk and unconventional surgical approach with which he lacked experience” and the medical facility “misrepresented and/or concealed information relating to the risks of surgery.” The hospital claimed that he died because of a stroke after heart surgery. Paxton’s family is pursuing a wrongful death claim in order to get answers and justice for their father’s untimely death.

If someone you love has died due to the negligence or recklessness of someone or some party then you also have the right to claim a wrongful death suit. Bill Paxton was not for wanting after starring in so many hit films. Yet, his death may be attributed to a lack of standard care or negligence on the medical facilities behalf.
